Contemplative Thoughts I Brothers and sisters in Christ, I come to you in genuine hope that you and your loved ones are well and have to this day been spiritually and internally preparing for what we all are on the verge of experiencing at some level or another. The coming weeks and months will show to you all the expanding global conflict, one that will have no fill of money, weapons and lives. It is only the start of what will be a very long evening in the history of humanity. But after this long evening, will come the light of the Morning, and with it the start of a new day. Let us all pray for strength, fortitude, faith, love, sacrifice, and most importantly, mercy. The following are contemplative thoughts that can be used to contemplate, meditate, and spiritually chew on and digest for the benefit of all our spirits: Servitude-As servants of Christ, let us mold the World, and Not let the World Mold us. When you approach every/anything as a humble servant, you will never be disappointed, only exalted. Serving others through a humble spirit, allows others to be grafted in us, and we in them. 12 Horacio Villegas True power brothers and sisters, lies not in being served, but in being able to serve others in the image and likeness of Christ. Let us always recall that whatever we do for the least of our brothers and sisters, and how we come to serve them, will never go unseen, unrewarded or uncompensated by our Lord. Let us be confident then that you will have served Christ himself, to whomever approaches us as the lonely beggar, through these heartfelt acts of faith. Brothers and Sisters, pride is always the number one barrier/obstacle that prevents us from freely giving of ourselves to others. You can rest assured that the more you pray for a spirit of holy servitude, the more opportunities will arise in which our pride will become apparent. It's here that we are being spiritually trained/tested to become stronger in order to reach our spiritual goals. For it is through these means of spiritual training, that we are able to identify and target that which prevents us from our ultimate goal of humble servitude, first to God, then to others. Freely serving others, through charitably giving of ourselves, runs counter to our fallen nature tendencies; but it is here that true grace is shown and manifested and further promoted by our approach to all opportunities as servants of Christ. Prayer We Live as we Pray, and Pray as we Live. Finite and temporal desires, objectives and created items, can never ultimately fulfill, satisfy, and sustain our desires for ultimate and infinite satisfaction, fulfillment and joy for ourselves, because we are not only corporeal and temporal beings, but transcendent everlasting spiritual ones as well. Contemplative Catholic Thoughts 13 This is why our hearts, soul and minds will remain restless, impatient, fruitless, and frustrated, until they come to rest in God's infinite heart. Prayer after all, is the ultimate desire and need for an intimate relationship with an all loving and merciful Father. Prayer can be either a continual and persistent daily action that we do out of faithful love due to our close proximity to God, or it can be due to a lack of proximity and fear. Holy Spirit I Believe in the Holy Spirit! To profess this with heartfelt and contemplative words of inspiration is to give rise to a new life that will stem from God's Holy Spirit within us. Invisible though he may be, the Holy Spirit is constantly reminding us of his presence in and around our lives through the manifestations that arise through and within the members of the Bride of Christ's. Holy Spirit, you who are our counselor, our advocate, our guide, our wisdom, our moral compass, in an otherwise moral and toxic wasteland that is this darkened modern society, come to us, comfort us, console us, guide us, enlighten us, advise us, and always pray f
